Northern Trends, clients donate to Salvation Army

Northern Trends Building and Design, which partnered with its clients for the third consecutive year, collected and donated more than $1,400 worth of merchandise for the Salvation Army. A variety of merchandise was collected — and the highlight in 2009 was two bikes.
“People have great intensions, but get busy,” said Dan Merritt, a partner at Northern Trends. “We are the wheels to get the merchandise there.”
Northern Trends Building and Design is locally owned by Dan Merritt, Dave Nelson, Jamie Panger and Loren Slette. All four partners picked up donations from throughout the area and personally delivered them to the Salvation Army.
