Biz Notebook: Duluth~Superior Magazine wins gold

. Duluth~Superior Magazine has won the gold for Best Full Issue in Folio’s Eddie Awards national competition for Editorial Excellence. DSM competed side-by-side with Food & Wine, Parents, Time and other big-time publications. Publisher Marti Buscaglia’s Facebook page is being bombared with positive comments about DSM winning the prestigious award.
“The entire DSM team is thrilled to be nationally recognized with a Gold for Best Full Issue (October, 2008) in our first year of publication,” Buscaglia said in a private Facebook message to Howie Blog. “It is a great honor and I am extremely proud of our team for such a distinguished accomplishment. I think Duluth~Superior can be proud of having a national award-winning city magazine represent the citizens of the area and we are certainly grateful for their support as well.”
