The Duluth Federation of Teachers/Education Minnesota will host a reception at 5:45 p.m. today at Duluth Denfeld High School Media Center to recognize Duluth’s 2016-17 Teachers of the Year Annette Petersmeyer and Sheila Shusterich. The event is free and open to the public.
Duluth Denfeld High School Design Center will host an open house and ribbon cutting today from 5 to 7 p.m. The new lab serves Duluth Denfeld and Duluth East students, and is based on MakerSpace and MIT FAB Lab models and supports a FAB Lab Engineering & Design Lab, Robotics, Graphic Arts & Digital Design.
