TAKE A BOW: The Duluth Folk School is one year-old this month.
BENT PADDLE IN THE NEWS: Bent Paddle Brewing Co. is paddling further East and South into Wisconsin.
Duluth’s Lincoln Park-based brewery announced a new distribution partnership with Dean Distributing of Green Bay, WI. The new territory will include the Wisconsin counties of Ashland, Iron, Oneida, Vilas, Forest, Langlade and Price.
“We are excited to share our Minnesota Northwoods experience in the Northwoods of Wisconsin,” said Laura Mullen, a Bent Paddle Brewing Co. co-founder. “We feel our brand philosophy and recipes will be a natural fit amongst the active outdoor lifestyle that is celebrated in the area.”
“Dean Distributing is looking forward to its partnership with Bent Paddle Brewing Co. and for the opportunity to provide their quality craft beers to northern Wisconsin,” Dean Distributing President Ken Eggen said.
Meanwhile, Bent Paddle Brewing Co. has also forged a new distribution partnership with Beechwood Sales and Service of New Berlin, WI. The new territory will include 18 counties in southwestern Wisconsin, and will include the cities and surrounding counties of River Falls, Eau Claire, Menomonie and LaCrosse.
“We are extremely excited to bring Bent Paddle’s great products into Western Wisconsin,” said Mike Sorensen, Area Sales Manager for Beechwood. “Beechwood and Bent Paddle have very similar values when it comes to the quality and education of craft beer. Bent Paddle’s portfolio is positioned to succeed in Wisconsin. We’re looking forward to a great partnership with Bent Paddle.”
Distribution in these counties will begin this week.
