Esko will launch a six-game boys basketball homestand Tuesday night against neighborhood rival Cloquet, as the traditional Polar League champions begin arguably the toughest stretch in their regular season schedule.

Esko (14-6) won’t be the favorite in at least three of its final six home games, but will be against the Lumberjacks, and in Thursday night’s nonconference game against Bemidji (10-11) and Friday against Barnum (13-6).

However, Esko will compete in an underdog role at home against Crosby-Ironton (16-2) on Feb. 20 and Superior (16-4) Feb. 24.

Esko wraps up regular-season play Feb. 29 at heavy favorite Annandale (16-3).
