Hermantown scored twice in the second half and shut out Proctor 2-0 in a Lake Superior Conference girls soccer match Thursday.
Kaija Markovich scored the game’s first goal in the 62nd minute off an assist from Harper Nelson, giving the Hawks a 1-0 lead after the teams played a scoreless first half.
Kaitlyn Patterson added an insurance goal in the 75th minute, scoring off a pass from Vienna Kolenda.
Hermantown goalkeepers Ava DeTray and Isla Radzak combined for the shutout. DeTray made three saves and Radzak had four.
Proctor goalkeeper Peyton Walters made 12 saves.
