Vienna Kolenda scored twice in the first half, and Hermantown defeated Big Lake 3-1.
Kolenda opened the scoring in the 13th minute off an assist from Audrina Daniels. She added an unassisted goal in the 25th minute.
Big Lake answered in the same minute when Hadley Priest scored an unassisted goal, but Hermantown restored its two-goal lead three minutes later when Kaija Markovich scored unassisted.
Hermantown goalkeeper Isla Radzak made two saves in the first half while allowing one goal. Ava DeTray stopped all three shots she faced in the second half. Big Lake goalkeeper Lilliana Reinoso made five saves.
