Gary New Duluth road project to begin

Minnesota Department of Transportation contractors will start construction on Highway 23 between Gary New Duluth and Perch Lake on May 15. Work includes pavement replacement, culvert work, guardrails, and ADA pedestrian ramps. Traffic will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project controlled by a temporary signal system.

Work is expected to last through August 12. Following MnDOT’s project, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will be completing work at Perch Lake. That work will also require signal-controlled single lane traffic. – Press release
