Locals to compete in AAU boys hoops tourney in Minneapolis

Abe Soumis and Nathan Hill of Hermantown are rostered to play for Northern Lakers 2024 in the Prep Hoops Live AAU tournament in Minneapolis this weekend. Esko standouts Zander Gabel, Jacion Owens and Dalton Spindler are Northern Lakers teammates.

Starks Elite 2024, led by 6-foot-5 2025 Brooks Johnson of Duluth Marshall and 6-4 2024 Aidan Altona of Duluth Denfeld, is also participating in the event.

. Starks Elite 2025, featuring several players from Duluth East

. Starks Elite 2026, led by Lee Brooks of Duluth Denfeld and 6-6 Lance Johnson of Hermantown
