Next Week in Esko Sports: Eskomos Continue Summer Skill Development

ESKO — Esko High School athletes will continue their offseason development next week as the Eskomos' basketball, volleyball and soccer programs remain active with a series of summer training sessions.

Monday's schedule begins with both basketball programs taking the floor from 10:30 a.m.-noon. The boys basketball team will practice in the varsity gym while the girls basketball team works out in the practice gym. The volleyball program follows with a 9th-12th grade training session from noon-2 p.m. in the practice gym before the soccer program concludes the day with a summer workout from 6-8 p.m. at Esko Stadium Field in the athletic complex.

Tuesday features another full morning of basketball instruction as both the boys and girls teams return to the court from 10:30 a.m.-noon in their respective gyms. Volleyball closes out the week's scheduled activities with another 9th-12th grade summer practice from noon-2 p.m. in the practice gym.

The Eskomos' summer schedule continues to emphasize skill development, conditioning and team chemistry as coaches prepare athletes for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The structured offseason workouts provide valuable opportunities for players to sharpen fundamentals and build continuity ahead of the start of official fall and winter sports practices later this summer.
