Duluth Police Press Release: Update to Monday's incident

THURSDAY, JUNE 20 8:20 A.M. UPDATE:

At approximately 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, Duluth Police arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male and a 16-year-old juvenile male for pending charges of Aid and Abet 1st Aggravated Robbery and 3rd Degree Riot charges. They were detained without incident and lodged at the Arrowhead Juvenile Center.

MONDAY, JUNE 17 6:05 P.M. ORIGINAL:

At approximately 4:05p.m. Monday, June 17, Duluth Police responded to the DECC parking ramp for a report of a 75-year-old male who stated he was assaulted and robbed by three juveniles. The male sustained a minor injury from the assault but refused medical attention. The juveniles were identified and located but are not in custody pending further investigation. The males backpack still hasn’t been located. Reports will be sent to our Violent Crimes Unit for further investigation and potential charges.
