Prep Hockey: Hermantown, Denfeld are LSC Jamboree unbeatens

Section 5A favorites Hermantown and Denfeld were the only unbeatens and unscored-upons in three periods against three different opponents in the Lake Superior Conference Boys Hockey Jamboree held Monday at Heritage Center.
The defensive-tough and high-scoring Hawks defeated Duluth Central 3-0, Superior 1-0 and Cloquet 3-0 in one-period exhibitions. The Hunters defeated Ashland 3-0 and Duluth Marshall 1-0, and played a scoreless tie against the surprise team in the Jamboree, Proctor. Duluth Central also impressed with ties against Cloquet and Superior.
