The Nate Bargatze Show on Thursday night may be a record crowd for Amsoil Arena. Because the show is set "in the round," all sections are available, and 7,795 seats have been sold (97.2% capacity). Remaining tickets will likely be sold before the performance.

PARKING

With this many attendees and 1,800 parking spots at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center, many ticket holders will have to park elsewhere, likely in downtown parking ramps. The skywalk across the highway will be open late, until 12:30 a.m., to accommodate show attendees. https://decc.org/parking-directions/parking-resources/

"With nearly 8,000 tickets sold and under 2,000 parking spots, you can see the math isn't mathing," said Lucie Amundsen, DECC communications director. "We're encouraging people to allow lots of time to park. Make an afternoon of it, enjoy a meal downtown or in Canal Park, and arrive relaxed for the show."

CONSTRUCTION

Adding to the complexity, there is construction on I-35. Heading north, attendees should take Exit 256A (Superior /Mesaba exit) to Michigan StreetTurn right onto 5th Avenue to cross over the highway, then take another right to get onto West Railroad Street. This detour is shown on Google Maps.

BAG POLICY

Lastly, the DECC is asking attendees to leave pocketknives and bags at home or in their cars, as the DECC's Bag Policy will be enforced. Small bags not exceeding 4.5” x 6.5”, such as a clutch purse, wristlet, or wallet, are allowed. Medical bags and diaper bags are also allowed.
