DULUTH — The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its 156th Annual Meeting and Dinner Celebration on Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.
The event, one of the region’s largest annual business gatherings, is expected to draw approximately 1,300 business, civic and community leaders to the DECC’s Lake Superior Ballroom.
Activities will begin with a pre-party at 4 p.m., followed by registration and a reception at 5 p.m. Dinner and the formal program are scheduled for 6 p.m.
An after-party sponsored by Adolfson & Peterson Construction will begin at 8 p.m.
The annual meeting provides the Chamber with an opportunity to review regional business and economic developments, recognize partnerships and discuss priorities affecting Duluth-area employers and the broader business community.
Chamber officials said the program will focus on regional progress, economic development, business conditions and community initiatives undertaken with local partners.
The Duluth Area Chamber of Commerce represents businesses and organizations throughout the region and works on economic development, business advocacy, workforce and community issues.
The gathering will mark the organization’s 156th annual meeting.
