Duluth police actively investigate overnight shooting

Based on initial investigation, this isn’t a random incident.

Duluth Police were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the 6700 block of Redruth St. at approximately 12:35 a.m. Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers located a male with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The male was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is in stable condition. Further investigation shows that an unknown individual shot the male, who immediately fled the scene. Officers canvased the area and were unable to locate the individual. Based on initial investigation, this isn’t a random incident.

The Duluth Police Department is actively investigating this incident and no further information will be released at this time.
