The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center has announced a revamped Duluth Taco Festival scheduled for July 18 at Pioneer Hall and Portside Park near the William A. Irvin.
The event will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring tacos, margaritas, live music, vendors and family-friendly activities.
Organizers said changes to this year's festival were made in response to feedback from attendees following the 2024 event, including requests for greater participation from local Mexican restaurants and food vendors.
For the first time, several local businesses will join the festival lineup alongside the DECC's culinary team. Participating vendors currently include MidCoast Catering, Burrito Union & Tequila Bar, Azteca's and Hungry Hippie Tacos. Organizers said additional vendors may be added before the event.
The festival will also expand its beverage offerings, featuring a larger selection of margaritas served on the rocks. Beer and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

In addition to food and drinks, the event will include local merchandise vendors, live outdoor music, games, a photo booth and other family-oriented activities.
General admission tickets include five tacos for adults and two tacos for children ages 10 and under. Children ages 5 and under will be admitted free.
VIP admission includes early entry beginning at 1 p.m., complimentary parking and five tacos for adults. VIP tickets for children ages 10 and under include early entry and two tacos.
Food service will take place inside Pioneer Hall, while outdoor activities will be held in the adjacent parking area.
The venue is fully ADA accessible. Event organizers said all ticket sales are final.
