The Hermantown Hawks boys hockey team will return to the ice this weekend for three days of summer scrimmages against several of Minnesota’s established programs at Hermantown Arena.
The Hawks’ varsity and junior varsity teams will each play one game Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the arena’s North Star Rink.
Hermantown’s junior varsity team will open the weekend Friday against Duluth East, while the varsity will face Mahtomedi.
The Hawks will continue play Saturday, with the junior varsity facing Totino-Grace and the varsity meeting Benilde-St. Margaret’s.
The weekend concludes Sunday. Hermantown’s junior varsity will play Monticello, followed by a varsity matchup against St. Cloud Cathedral.
The summer scrimmages offer Hermantown’s players an opportunity to compete against quality opposition while continuing their offseason development ahead of the 2026-27 high school season.
All six games will be played at Hermantown Arena’s North Star Rink. The public is encouraged to attend and support the Hawks.
