The Tulsa Oilers signed defensive lineman Tre Henry for the 2026 season. Henry, who spent the 2025 season with the Tucson Sugar Skulls, recorded 26.5 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, two pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 10 games last season.
. The Vegas Knight Hawks hired Rod Miller as defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach. Miller returns for his second stint with the franchise after leading Vegas to the top pass defense in the IFL in 2023. He most recently served as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the San Diego Strike Force in 2025. Miller has more than 25 years of indoor football coaching experience, including time with Green Bay, Kansas City, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Wichita and Bismarck. He also led the Massachusetts Pirates to an IFL championship appearance as head coach and defensive coordinator.
. The Arizona Rattlers re-signed running back Ron Brown Jr., the league’s 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year. Brown rushed for 557 yards and 23 touchdowns as a rookie and added 32 receptions for 299 yards and five more scores. He returns for his second season with Arizona.
. The Rattlers also signed defensive back Devin Hafford, who played for Fishers and San Diego last season. Hafford totaled 58.5 tackles, one interception, one fumble recovery and five pass breakups while adding 550 kickoff return yards and three return touchdowns.
. The San Antonio Gunslingers hired Malcolm Goines as defensive coordinator. Goines most recently coached the defensive line for the Bay Area Panthers, whose defense ranked first in the IFL last season. He previously served as co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach for Frisco, where his units led the league in points and yards allowed.
