As a commitment to building trust through transparency with our community, the Duluth Police Department is launching an online crime mapping dashboard that displays various types of crime incidents that were reported in our community for the past three years. The incidents on the crime map include all offense categories

Fatal bicycle-vehicle crash in Duluth

Initial investigation shows the bicyclist, a 60-year-old male, was riding westbound when he went through the crosswalk without checking for oncoming traffic. The male was struck by two vehicles.

Portion of East 11th Street to close temporarily for contractor work

By Kelli Latuska Contractors will be closing a portion of East 11th Street adjacent to Myers-Wilkins Elementary School beginning Friday, November 15. The closure is anticipated to be in place through the end of January. The closure will be located just to the east of the intersection of Eighth Avenue
