A total of 11 University of Minnesota Duluth men’s hockey newcomers, including 10 freshmen, were named to the 2024-25 NCHC Academic All-Conference Team. Eight freshmen also earned the NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete designation.

The honorees include Callum Arnott, Blake Bechen, Harper Bentz, Adam Gajan, Ty Hanson, Adam Kleber, Max Plante, Zam Plante, Jayson Shaugabay, Trevor Stachowiak and former goaltender Klayton Knapp.

To qualify for the Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must post a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete a full academic year at their institution. Those with a GPA of 3.5 or better receive Distinguished Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The Bulldogs had previously placed 13 returning players on the academic team in February, bringing their 2024-25 total to 24 honored student-athletes.
