Duluth Police respond to school bus vs. car accident

At approximately 3:15 p.m., Duluth Police responded to a Voyager school bus vs. vehicle crash in the area of Rice Lake Road and Barnes Road.

Initial investigation shows the school bus was attempting to turn southbound on Rice Lake Road when a vehicle that was traveling northbound on Rice Lake Road struck the bus. The female driver of the vehicle received minor injuries and was treated on scene. The three individuals on the bus, the bus driver, an adult, and a student, all received non-life-threatening injuries.

There were no signs of impairment. This incident remains under investigation and our investigators will review the crash for potential charges. – Duluth Police press release
