NSIC Men's Basketball Central Regional Quarterfinal

Bulldogs 59, Fort Hayes State 58 – Drew Blair and Charlie Katona had 13 points each for the Bulldogs, who advance to a Central Regional semifinal Sunday at 5 p.m. in Mankato, Minnesota.

NCHC Men's Hockey Quarterfinal

Denver 5, Bulldogs 2. UMD finishes the season 12-20-5.

NCAA Women's Hockey Regional

Ohio State 9, Bulldogs 0. UMD finishes the season 21-14-4.

INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES

Plante

Bulldogs recruit Max Plante of Hermantown had a goal and two assists to lead the U.S. Under-18 hockey team to a 6-2 victory over the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders of the USHL. Plante, who will join UMD in the fall, increased his points total to 48 (12 goals) in 39 games and ranks sixth on the team in scoring.
