The world premiere of a documentary on the historic 1963 Cloquet vs. Marshall basketball game will be shown at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Cloquet High School Auditorium.

The film was completed by Howard Lavick, a Cloquet graduate and longtime filmmaker who lives in Oregon. Lavick, the son of the late Rod Lavick, who operated a furniture business in Cloquet, returned to his hometown roots for the project.

Former Cloquet coach Ben Trochill, now in his 90s, is expected to attend and take part in a post-film question-and-answer session. Several players from the 1963 team are also scheduled to appear.

Admission is free, with donations accepted to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Cloquet Educational Foundation.
