Minnesota Monsters promote Howard to assistant general manager

Howard will work alongside the club's leadership on player personnel decisions, football administration, strategic planning and other initiatives designed to support the franchise's long-term growth and competitive development.

The Minnesota Monsters have promoted special teams coordinator Jaysen Howard to assistant general manager, expanding his responsibilities as the Arena Football One franchise continues to strengthen its football operations and front office.

Howard has been part of the organization's football staff since the team's inaugural season, contributing to special teams, roster evaluation and player development. In his new position, he will assist with day-to-day football operations, personnel strategy, scouting coordination, player acquisition and long-term organizational planning.

"Jaysen has demonstrated the leadership, work ethic, and football vision that align with what the Minnesota Monsters are building," the team's leadership group said in a statement. "His ability to evaluate talent, communicate a clear standard, and contribute across multiple areas of the organization made this a natural next step."

The promotion reflects the Monsters' emphasis on developing leaders from within while continuing to build the franchise's football operations department. Howard has also been involved in team branding, roster management, football analysis and operational planning during his tenure with the organization.

As assistant general manager, Howard will work alongside the club's leadership on player personnel decisions, football administration, strategic planning and other initiatives designed to support the franchise's long-term growth and competitive development.

"This promotion is an opportunity to serve the organization at a higher level and help move the Minnesota Monsters forward in a bigger way," Howard said. "There is a strong vision in place for what this franchise can become, and this role allows for even greater impact in building a team, a culture, and a brand that Minnesota can be proud of."

The Monsters said Howard will continue to play a key role in shaping the club's football operations as the organization works to establish itself as a long-term contender in Arena Football One.
