Superior rolled to a 6-1 victory over visiting Hermantown in a girls tennis dual, sweeping singles play.

The Hawks earned their lone victory at No. 2 doubles, where Jillian Ritsche and Chloe Gustafson posted a 6-3, 6-0 decision over Superior’s Lexi Kimmes and Anne Winkle.

Lily Clark set the tone at No. 1 singles with a decisive 6-0, 6-0 win over Hermantown’s Sophia Piede. Olivia Mihalik followed suit at No. 2 with an identical 6-0, 6-0 victory against Evie Sullivan. Anna James earned a straight-set win at No. 3, defeating Alee Devlieger 7-5, 3-1 before the match was called. At No. 4 singles, Alli Mihalik outlasted Nevie Homich 6-0, 7-5 to complete the sweep.

In doubles, Superior’s top duo of Ava Dahl and Savanah Mosack clinched a 6-2, 6-4 win over Hermantown’s Rylee Kalkbrenner and Cadence Godmare. The Spartans also took the No. 3 doubles match, with Henleigh and Holland Helenius topping McKenna Dorn and Rylie Giesen 6-3, 6-4.
