Northwood, Valley Youth Center announce partnership at back-to-school event

Northwood Children’s Services and Valley Youth Center will host a back-to-school party and free backpack giveaway Thursday, Aug. 28, at Memorial Park in front of Valley Youth Center.

The free community event runs from 4 to 7:30 p.m. and will feature free backpacks and school supplies, food, bounce houses, live music and other activities.

Organizers will also announce a new partnership between Northwood and Valley Youth Center. The collaboration aims to strengthen financial stability at Valley Youth Center, expand staff opportunities and enhance recreational programming for students.
