Registration open for first three YAF races in 2024

Registration is now open for the first three Young Athletes Foundation (YAF) fundraising running events scheduled for 2024, the organization announced today. Each of these events saw participation increase in 2023, an encouraging sign to organizers who say these races have an even deeper meaning to the community.

“Just by participating, people in our community are helping to support the mission of the YAF,” Marketing & Public Relations Director Zach Schneider said. “Last year alone, these events raised more than $25,000 that we can then use to keep providing opportunities and assistance to kids in our region.”

The YAF will again use a tiered entry fee structure for all its paid events, offering lower prices to participants who sign up early. Youth pricing will again extend to ages 18 & under, with those entry fees remaining flat throughout the registration cycle.

SAINT FENNESSY 4K (850 capacity)

January 1-January 21 — $25

January 16-February 29 — $30

March 1-Race Day — $35

Youth (18 & Under) — $10

FITGER’S 5K (1,300 capacity)

January 1-February 15 — $35

February 16-March 31 — $40

March 1-Race Day — $45

Youth (18 & Under) — $15

PARK POINT 5-MILER & 2-MILE WALK (800 capacity)

January 1-May 15 — $25

May 16-June 30 — $30

July 1-Race Day — $35

Youth (18 & Under) — $10

Registration is also open for the KP Challenge, which offers an entry (at the lowest cost) to each of the three races – Saint Fennessy 4K, Fitger’s 5K, and Park Point 5-Miler & 2-Mile Walk.
