Duluth Police arrest individual on multiple pending charges

On Thursday, March 14, Duluth Police arrested 34-year-old Duluth resident Damian Swierc without incident for pending charges of 2nd Degree Assault with a Weapon, Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and 4th Degree Criminal Damage to Property.

This incident was reported on Wednesday, March 13 to the Duluth Police Department by the victim. The victim told responding officers that the incident occurred on Sunday, March 10. Swierc attempted to break into a neighbor’s apartment and ended up shooting the door twice with a shotgun.
