I asked Duluth community leader George Goldfarb, a Duluth native, retired President/CEO Maurice’s and recent inductee into the 2023 MN Business Hall of Fame, for his take on next Tuesday's Duluth mayoral election: Roger Reinert is a qualified, capable, people driven, experienced public servant and leader! So looking forward to a change in administration, have appreciated Roger’s professionalism and non-adversarial approach and strong sense of community, throughout his campaign.

Roger's a visionary and strategic leader! We appreciate his love and passion for our community and his eagerness to work together for a greater Duluth. Roger has such strong business and people values – it is great to hear his insights and his support for growth and development for this beautiful city of ours. Roger’s five-point plan and strategy for Duluth is outstanding. To name a few of his key focuses —-public safety, a rehabilitated downtown, improved streets and city services, focus on our youth, housing growth and development across all income levels (supporting our employers with sufficient employee housing), growth and development will temper our property taxes and reverse our population stagnation, while making Duluth an even better place to do business and live.

Appreciate what Mayor Larson has done for Duluth during her tenure, but it’s now time for change!

Duluth is such a gem, there’s such an opportunity for Duluth to grow and prosper; let’s take it to the next level with a vote for Roger! Change is critical, now is the time to vote; let’s all get out and vote Roger Reinert for Mayor!”
