Duluth Rotary Rose Day at Super One locations

The 40th annual Duluth Rotary Rose Day will take place Friday, Oct. 17, continuing one of the community’s longest-running fall traditions of giving and service.

Since its founding, Rotary Club of Duluth #25 has raised more than $1.35 million through Rose Day. Proceeds support local organizations that provide food, clothing and shelter to at-risk youth. Major Rotary projects over the years have included refurbishing Enger Park, lighting Enger Tower, and funding improvements to local soccer fields and beach walkways.

This year’s Rose Day sales will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Super One Foods locations in West Duluth, the Duluth Mall area and the Mt. Royal Shopping Center. Volunteers will also sell roses from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Super One Mall location.

Founded in 1911, Rotary Club of Duluth #25 is one of the oldest Rotary clubs in the world and part of Rotary International’s global network of 1.4 million members. The club supports dozens of local and international projects through service, leadership and fellowship.
