Grandma's Marathon announces free music entertainment lineup

PopROCKS and Chris Kroeze will take the stage Saturday night on Grandma’s Marathon weekend, headlining a two-day “Rock the Bayfront” celebration on what’s expected to be one of the largest race weekends ever. All events are free and open to the public.

The weekend festival kicks off Friday night, with The Reckoning set to take the stage following the William A. Irvin 5K. Live music then continues all day Saturday, both during and after the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon and Grandma’s Marathon.

“There’s no better place to throw a party in Duluth than Bayfront Festival Park,” Marketing & PR Director Zach Schneider said. “What better way for tens of thousands of people to celebrate reaching the finish line than to celebrate alongside the community that supported them at a venue that is quintessential Duluth?”
