Duluth mayoral candidate Roger took to Facebook with this post today: "A great meet and greet last week hosted by our friends at Duluth Firefighters Local 101 and Duluth Police Union LELS Local 538 - Duluth Fire and Duluth Police!
I am incredibly grateful for the joint endorsement from our Duluth Public Safety team. It's been many elections since a candidate for Mayor has had support from both fire and police and is a testament to the importance of unity, collaboration, and the shared vision we have for Duluth's future.
These teams put uniforms and protective gear on everyday and go out into our communities to protect and serve. Everyday, all day. Nights, weekends and holidays. Their goal is to ensure our community remains safe which allows the rest of us to focus on our day to day lives.
I am thankful for what they do for all of us on a daily basis, proud to have their support, and eager to be their next city hall partner!"
