MONDAY

Wrestling – at Pine City, 4 p.m.

Girls Hockey – at Superior, 7 p.m. Game Notes: The Mirage (13-8-1) blitzed visiting Duluth 6-0 on Saturday to record their fourth win in the last five starts. The Spartans (19-2-0) edged the Northern Stars 5-3 last Tuesday. Proctor-Hermantown is led by forwards Izy Fairchild, the team's scoring leader with 13 goals and 28 points, and Jane Eckstrom (22 points, 9 goals). The Mirage have three regular season games remaining, including home games against Brainerd-Little Falls (Feb. 1) and Mound Westonka (Feb. 3), both at historic Hermantown Arena.

Alpine Skiing – vs. Duluth East, 11 a.m.

Nordic Skiing – vs. multiple schools, 11 a.m.

Girls Hockey – host Brainerd-Little Falls, 7 p.m. Game Note: Brainerd-Little Falls is 14-9-0.

Boys Hockey – at Cloquet-Esko-Carlton, 7 p.m. Game Notes: The Class 1A/No. 2-ranked Hawks (12-6-2) will look to snap a rare tw0-game losing streak, which includes back-to-back home losses to Class 2A/No. 8 St. Thomas Academy 3-0 and Class 2A/No. 5 Maple Grove 3-2 in OT. The Jacks are 10-10-0 overall and had lost three of its last four heading into Tuesday's game at Forest Lake. Junior forward River Freeman and senior forward William Esterbrooks share the Hawks' scoring lead with 24 points each, with Freeman scoring a team-high 13 goals. Dane Callaway is one of the state's top senior goaltenders, with a 1.80 goals-against average and .937 saves percentage. Hermantown has five regular season games remaining before beginning Section 7A tournament play.

Boys Basketball – host Grand Rapids, 7:15 p.m. Game Notes: The Hawks (12-6) will face the Thunderhawks (5-11) two times in their next three games, including in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Grand Rapids. Hermantown has won eight of its last nine, including a 96-84 home victory against Duluth Marshall last Thursday night without scoring leader Abe Soumis, who was sidelined with an ankle injury suffered in an 88-84 loss at Duluth Denfeld on Jan. 23. Top guards Peyton Menzel, Nathan Hill and Alex Schott stepped their play against the Hilltoppers.
