LSC art show and choir concert next week

The annual Student Spring Art Show begins on Monday. The LSC Concert Choir will also hold its annual spring concert on Tuesday.

Next week will be the final week of regular classes before finals at Lake Superior College (LSC), with events taking place to showcase the talents and skills students have been working on all Spring Semester.

The annual Student Spring Art Show begins on Monday. The LSC Concert Choir will also hold its annual spring concert on Tuesday.

Students enrolled in LSC’s art courses will display their work during the exhibit. The show will include the work of over 275 students in first- and second-year art classes. Art presented includes Ceramics, Drawings, Paintings, Digital Photography, Metal Art and Jewelry, Digital Art, Watercolors, and Sculptures.

Artwork will be displayed in the lower concourse in LSC’s main campus. The exhibit will be open during regular campus hours beginning at noon on Monday, May 5, through 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7.

The Spring Choir Concert will be held starting at 7 p.m. in the Atrium of its Main Campus. The free event features the Lake Superior Concert Choir, directed by Cal Metts, along with special guests from the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Concert Choir.

The program will feature performances by the full LSC Concert Choir, as well as private music showcases. This event is free and open to the public.
