Bellisio's Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar has again been recognized by Wine Spectator, earning a 2026 Best of Award of Excellence and extending one of the longest-running award streaks for a Minnesota restaurant.
The Canal Park restaurant has received the honor every year since opening in 1999, placing it among the state's longest-tenured recipients. According to Wine Spectator, Bellisio's is one of 24 Minnesota restaurants recognized in 2026 and trails only the St. Paul Grill in consecutive years receiving the distinction.
The Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards, established in 1981, recognize restaurants with outstanding wine programs at three levels: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award. This year, 2,083 restaurants received the Award of Excellence, 1,830 earned the Best of Award of Excellence and 99 received the Grand Award.
According to Wine Spectator, Best of Award of Excellence recipients demonstrate extensive wine selections spanning multiple wine-growing regions or significant vertical collections from leading producers, along with superior presentation.

Bellisio's General Manager Sarah Runser said the recognition reflects the restaurant's long-term commitment to its wine program and customer experience.

Wine Spectator's annual Restaurant Awards issue will be published July 21.
Bellisio's, part of the Grandma's Inc. family of restaurants, opened in Canal Park in 1999 and is known for its Italian cuisine and extensive wine list.
