Superior City FC defeated the Minnesota Twinstars FC 2-1 in a UPSL Midwest-West Division amateur men's soccer game Saturday night in Superior. Emad Fatah, Mally Lumsden and Cameron Ross scored for Superior City FC.

The surging Hermantown boys track team won another invitational meet on Saturday, on a cold, windy, wet day at the Steve Kernzie invite at Rock Ridge. 

"Our throwers continued to dominate today against the elements as Adian AdamskiEvan SenstHenry Sherwood and Neo Carlson went 1,2,3, and 4 in the discus, and 1,3,4 and 5 in the shot put,” said Hawks coach Tyler Homstad. “These guys seem to PR weekly and are going to make a great run at a shot at State this year." 

Martin Sleen broke the 100m dash Hawks’ school record in a time of 10.97 seconds.

"With only one meet left before the Section meet, I am very happy with the way these guys continue to work hard and improve weekly," Homstad said.
