Hermantown’s depth carried the Hawks to a 5-2 victory over Stella Maris Academy in nonconference girls tennis on Tuesday afternoon.

The Hawks swept the lower singles and all three doubles matches to lock down the team win. Alee Devlieger set the tone in the No. 3 singles spot, rolling past Luciana Jackman 6-1, 6-0, while teammate Nevie Homich was even more dominant at No. 4, defeating Grace Davis 6-0, 6-0.

In doubles, Hermantown’s No. 1 pairing of Rylee Kalkbrenner and Cadence Godmare outlasted Stella Maris’ Elyce Klosmaki and Evelyn Patrick in the most dramatic match of the day.
