Stella Maris Academy will hold its third annual Fall Flannel Fest on Oct. 10, pairing road races and family activities with a fundraiser for the school’s athletic and extracurricular programs. The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the academy’s high school campus, 4321 Allendale Ave.

For Stella Maris, the Fall Flannel Fest is about more than one day of community. It reflects the growth of a school now in its fourth year of high school, preparing to graduate its first senior class this spring, and student participation in activities continues to expand.

If the activity that SMA students are interested in has sufficient numbers of students and a MSHSL certificated coach, they will have the opportunity to participate in junior high, junior varsity, and even varsity (in some activities) during the 2023/24 school year.
