Lake Superior College to host Earth Day Fair

By Jesse Robinson

Lake Superior College will host its annual Earth Day Fair on Tuesday, April 22 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the main concourse of its main campus.

The fair will feature over 30 vendors, including agencies, non-profits, businesses, hiking & biking clubs, and LSC organizations, providing students with opportunities to learn about sustainability and inquire about summer employment opportunities. Some activities include a make-and-take bird feeder, a book swap, a campus cleanup in the morning and more.

“The Earth Day Fair brings together LSC students, faculty, staff, and the Duluth community to explore practical ways we can support sustainability and care for the environment,” said organizer and LSC Librarian Kate Rolfe.

The campus clean-up is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Tuesday. The main portion of the fair runs from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
