LSC hosts Spring Student Art Show

Lake Superior College’s Student Spring Art Show opens at noon today and runs through Wednesday at 9 p.m. on LSC’s main campus.

Students enrolled in LSC’s art courses will have an opportunity to display their work during the exhibit. The show will include the work of over 200 students in first- and second-year art classes.

Students will present a variety of art, including drawings, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, metal art and jewelry, watercolors, digital photography, and digital paintings.

Artwork will be displayed in the lower concourse in LSC’s main campus.

This project is rooted in a belief that local prep sports matter. They matter because they teach discipline, resilience, teamwork and leadership. They matter because generations of families share experiences together. Most importantly, they matter because they help define who we are as communities.
